If you’re into survival games, you’ve probably already heard about Enshrouded. It quietly crept into Early Access on PC back in early 2024, and ever since, it’s been building serious hype. Made by Keen Games, the same team behind Portal Knights, this open-world survival RPG mixes base-building, exploration, crafting, and real-time combat in a way that just works. And now, console players are asking the big question: What’s the Enshrouded PS5 release date?

|When Is Enshrouded Coming to PS5?

Right now, Enshrouded is only out on PC via Steam Early Access. But if you’re on PlayStation 5 (or Xbox Series X|S), here’s the good news: the devs have officially confirmed that Enshrouded will be launching on consoles when the full version 1.0 drops, sometime in Spring 2026.

|What’s Coming in New Update 6?

​Keen Games has announced that Enshrouded’s sixth major update, titled Thralls of Twilight, is set to launch in May 2025. This update introduces new gameplay mechanics such as weapon modifications, gem crafting, and deconstruction. Players can also expect new enemies that enhance the game’s challenge and depth. Additionally, the nighttime cycle has been enhanced, offering more reasons to venture out after dark, although specific details are yet to be revealed.

The devs at Keen Games aren’t just slapping a version number on and calling it a day. Between now and the 1.0 release, they’re planning a ton of new content. They’re really listening to player feedback and evolving the game based on what the community wants. So, expect some serious upgrades.
