If you’ve noticed the chapters aren’t dropping as often, you’re right. Back in August 2023, Black Clover switched from weekly releases in Weekly Shonen Jump to quarterly releases in Jump GIGA. That means a new chapter only comes out every three months now.

The good news is this gives Tabata more time to really nail the story and art in this crucial final arc. Yeah, we have to wait longer, but the chapters feel more polished and detailed, and honestly, it’s worth it.

The most recent chapters of Black Clover, Chapters 379 and 380, were released on May 2, 2025, in the Spring 2025 issue of Jump GIGA. These chapters are available for free on VIZ Media’s Shonen Jump and Manga Plus, with the first three chapters being free on Shonen Jump and all chapters free on Manga Plus, though with limited views.

As for the next release, there is currently no official confirmation regarding the release date of the next chapters. Given that Black Clover is now on a quarterly release schedule, it’s possible that the next chapters will be released in the Summer 2025 issue of Jump GIGA, which typically comes out in August.
