Is Delta Force Crossplay?

Delta Force is a fresh take on the classic tactical shooter series. Developed by TiMi Studio Group, it blends massive PvP battles, intense extraction missions, and a remastered Black Hawk Down campaign. You can choose different operators, fight across land, sea, and air. I’ve been diving into Delta Force: Hawk Ops lately, and one question that keeps coming up is, Is Delta Force crossplay?

If you are wanting to team up with friends who are all scattered across different platforms, that’s a pretty big deal. So I did some digging, and here’s what I found.

|Delta Force: Hawk Ops is Crossplay

Good news, it’s got crossplay. That means you can team up with your friends no matter what they’re playing on, whether it’s PC or mobile. Although currently the game is not available on consoles, but you can expect crossplay to be available on launch.

It means you’re not stuck on one platform, and you can dive into matches with a much bigger player base.

|How to Turn On Crossplay in Delta Force

Setting up crossplay is pretty easy. If you’re jumping in for the first time or want to make sure it’s working, just do this:

  • Go to Settings: Hit the settings menu from the main screen.

  • Toggle Crossplay: Make sure the crossplay option is turned on.

  • Invite Your Friends: You can add friends directly, even if they’re on other platforms.

  • Start Playing: Whether it’s a quick match or a full-blown mission, you’re all set.

|What About Cross Progression?

Here’s where things get a little messy. Delta Force has limited cross-progression:

  • PC and Mobile: If you’re playing on these two, your progress is synced. Log in, and all your unlocks, XP, and loadouts come with you.

The game is soon releasing on PlayStation and Xbox in 2025. Hopefully the cross progression functionality will be available at launch.

|How Crossplay Matchmaking Works

If you’re worried about unfair fights (like getting destroyed by PC players with mouse and keyboard while you’re on a controller), the game’s got you covered.

  • Input-Based Matchmaking: PC players with mouse and keyboard mostly fight other PC players.

  • Controllers Stick Together: Console players with controllers generally get matched with other controller users.

  • Mixed Squads: If you’ve got friends on different setups, it’ll try to balance things out.

I’ve played a bunch of matches, and honestly, it feels pretty fair most of the time.

|Can You Turn Off Crossplay?

Yep, you can. If you’d rather stick to just your platform, maybe you’re tired of getting stomped by mobile players who somehow have insane aim, you can disable crossplay right in the settings.

I’m a huge fan of crossplay because it means more players, faster matchmaking, and way more fun with friends. It’s honestly a blast being able to drop into a mission with my buddy on Xbox while I’m on PC. And if you’ve got a squad of friends scattered across different platforms, this is a lifesaver.

Delta Force absolutely nailed it with crossplay. Sure, the limited cross progression is a bit of a letdown, but the fact that you can team up with friends on PC and mobile is a huge win.

If you’re on the fence about jumping in, trust me, grab a few friends, set up crossplay, and you’re in for a good time.
