If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably jumped out of your seat playing Phasmophobia at least once. It’s one of those games that’s even better with friends, but only if everyone can actually play together. That brings us to the big question: Is Phasmophobia crossplay?

The good news is yes, and it works really well. Whether you’re playing on PC, console, or even VR, you can easily team up with friends on other platforms. Here’s a breakdown of how it all works.

As of 2025, Phasmophobia fully supports crossplay across all available platforms. That includes PC (both Steam and Epic Games), Xbox Series, PS5, and PSVR2. This feature was rolled out alongside the console release and has made the game far more accessible to wider friend groups.

No matter where you’re playing, joining up is as simple as sharing a room code. The game doesn’t put up barriers between platforms, which is a big win for players.

Setting up a cross platform lobby is straightforward. One person creates a private room, shares the lobby code, and others can join, even if they’re on a different platform. It works just like any multiplayer game should.

The developers haven’t confirmed plans for cross progression yet, but players have definitely been asking for it. Hopefully, it’s something we’ll see in a future update.
