Is Repo on PS5?
If you’ve been scrolling through Twitch or TikTok lately, there’s a good chance you’ve seen some chaotic clips of a game called R.E.P.O. Players are sprinting around haunted mansions, yelling at each other over mics, and getting jump-scared out of their minds, often in hilarious ways. Naturally, if you’re on PlayStation 5, you might be wondering: Is Repo on PS5?
Let’s clear things up.
|What Exactly Is R.E.P.O.?
R.E.P.O. is a co op horror game developed by indie studio Semiwork. In it, you and up to five other players act as futuristic repo agents sent into haunted properties to recover cursed items. Sounds simple, right? Well, it’s not. These properties are crawling with supernatural entities that really don’t want you there.
The game mixes tense horror moments with absolute goofiness. Imagine the unsettling vibe of Phasmophobia with the unpredictable physics of Human Fall Flat, and you’re getting close. Sometimes you’ll scream. Sometimes you’ll laugh until you cry. That’s the magic of R.E.P.O.

No, R.E.P.O. is not available on PS5 right now.
The game is currently in Early Access on PC via Steam, where it’s seen a surge in popularity. With tens of thousands of positive reviews and a growing player base, R.E.P.O. is quickly becoming a favorite among fans of co op horror.
That being said, the developers at Semiwork have not ruled out a PlayStation version in the future. The devs said their current focus is on finishing the game for PC, fixing bugs, and adding new content based on player feedback.

Honestly, it seems likely. A lot of popular indie games make the leap from PC to console after they’ve had time to grow. Just look at Phasmophobia or even Among Us. They all started on PC and found massive success once they hit PlayStation and other platforms.
If R.E.P.O. keeps up its momentum, there’s a strong chance we’ll see an official console port, maybe even with crossplay support, though that’s just speculation for now.
|Watch Out for Fake Versions
Not long ago, something suspicious popped up on the PlayStation Store: a game called “R.E.P.O.: Ghost Haul.” It mimicked the style and name of the original but had nothing to do with the actual game from Semiwork. A lot of players downloaded it thinking it was the real deal, only to be disappointed.
It turns out that “Ghost Haul” was a totally unrelated title, and after enough backlash, it was taken down. The takeaway? If you see R.E.P.O. on the PS Store, check the developer name. If it’s not from Semiwork, it’s not legit.
At the moment, if you’re dying to play R.E.P.O., your best bet is to grab it on PC. It’s still in Early Access, but it’s already packed with fun (and genuinely creepy) moments. If you’re not a PC gamer, though, just keep your ears open.
Semiwork is actively updating fans through their Steam page and Discord. Once the PC version is in a more polished state, a console announcement could follow. Until then, stay patient, and maybe watch a few hilarious R.E.P.O. fails online to hold you over.
R.E.P.O. isn’t on PS5 just yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t be. Given its growing success and how much fans are asking for a console release, it’s probably only a matter of time. Just beware of knock-offs in the meantime, and stay tuned to official channels for any news.
