Lethal Company Platforms: Everything You Need to Know

What are Lethal Company Platforms? Lethal Company has exploded in popularity over the past few months, and if you’ve seen clips of people screaming in panic while running from monsters with their friends, you know exactly why. The game is weird, creepy, and hilarious in all the right ways. But if you’re wondering where you can actually play Lethal Company, here’s everything I’ve found out.

|It’s Only on PC (for Now)

Right now, Lethal Company is only available on Steam for PC. That’s it. No console version, no mobile app, and no word yet on when, or if, it’s coming to anything else. You’ll need a halfway decent computer to run it, but honestly, the game isn’t that demanding. Most modern laptops or gaming desktops should handle it just fine.

The game is also still in early access, which means the developer is actively working on it and adding new stuff. So if you do jump in now, expect regular updates and changes.

|Is It Coming to Consoles?

That’s the big question. A ton of people are asking if Lethal Company will come to Playstation, Xbox, or even Switch. So far, the answer is no. There’s been no official announcement from the developer (Zeekerss) about console plans.

To be fair, it’s a one-person dev team, and they’re clearly focused on making sure the PC version is running smoothly before tackling anything else. Porting a game to consoles takes a lot of work, especially if you’re doing it solo.

That said, with how successful the game has been, I wouldn’t be shocked if a console version happened down the road. Just don’t expect it anytime soon.

|What About Mac?

If you’re on a Mac, things get trickier. There’s no native Mac version of Lethal Company, so you’ll need a workaround. If you have an older Intel Mac, you might be able to run Windows using Boot Camp and install the game that way. But if you’ve got a newer M1 or M2 Mac, that method doesn’t work.

There are apps like Parallels or CrossOver that might let you play it, but it’s hit or miss. Performance isn’t always great, and you’ll have to jump through some hoops to get it going.

|Cloud Gaming Could Work

One option that’s gaining popularity is using cloud gaming services. Stuff like Shadow PC or GeForce NOW lets you run a virtual Windows desktop from your device and stream games from there. If your internet connection is solid, this can actually be a decent way to play Lethal Company without a gaming rig.

Just keep in mind, you’ll still need to own the game on Steam.

If you want to play Lethal Company right now, you’re going to need a PC and Steam. That’s the only official way. Console and Mac users are kind of out of luck for now, but who knows? If the game keeps blowing up, it’s probably only a matter of time before it makes its way to other platforms.
