Lethal Company Xbox: Everything You Need to Know

Lethal Company has quickly become one of the most talked-about indie horror games out there, and honestly, I get the hype. It throws you and your friends into creepy abandoned industrial zones to collect scrap while trying not to get picked off by whatever terrifying thing is lurking in the shadows. It’s chaotic, tense, and hilarious all at once. But if you’re someone who plays on console, you might be wondering: Is Lethal Company on Xbox?

|Can You Play It on Xbox?

Short answer? Not yet. Lethal Company is currently a PC-exclusive title, available on Steam. There’s been no official word from the solo developer, about bringing the game to Xbox, or any console. And yeah, that’s a bit of a bummer if you don’t have a gaming PC.

That said, the game is still in early access, and with the massive popularity it’s gained, I wouldn’t be surprised if console ports are considered down the line. But for now, if you want to play it, you’ll need to boot up a PC.

|What About Crossplay?

Since it’s only on PC right now, crossplay isn’t even a thing yet. There’s no support for playing across platforms, because, well, there’s only one platform. If it ever does launch on Xbox or PlayStation, crossplay could become something worth hoping for, but nothing’s been confirmed at this point.

That said, Lethal Company absolutely supports multiplayer on PC. In fact, it’s designed to be played with others. You can team up with up to four players in co-op, communicating via in-game voice chat as you explore eerie abandoned facilities and try not to get wiped out by whatever’s hunting you. The teamwork, chaos, and shared scares are a huge part of what makes the game so fun, so if you’ve got friends on PC, it’s definitely worth jumping in together.

|Will It Ever Come to Consoles?

It’s hard to say for sure, but I’d like to think it could. A lot of indie hits start out on PC before getting console releases. Think of games like Hades or Among Us. The demand is clearly there, and if Zeekerss decides to expand the team or partner with a publisher, that could speed things up. But again, that’s all just speculation for now.

Lethal Company is only on PC, and if you’re hoping to play it on Xbox, you’ll need to be patient. There’s no crossplay, no console support, for now. But the game’s success might just push things forward. Until then, you’ll need a PC to team up with your friends and try not to get jump-scared into next week.
