Ready or Not Game Xbox: What You Need to Know
If you’ve been craving a gritty, tactical shooter that doesn’t pull punches, Ready or Not might just be what you’ve been waiting for. And finally, after a long wait, Ready or not game Xbox is happening in Summer 2025. As someone who’s been watching this one for a while, this is exciting news.
|What Is Ready or Not?
At its core, Ready or Not is a tense, realistic SWAT-style shooter where you play as the leader of an elite team tasked with handling dangerous missions. These aren’t your average shootouts, they’re situations where every second counts. Think hostage rescues, armed standoffs, and unexpected chaos around every corner. The game really leans into realism, and if you’re someone who enjoys slow, methodical planning over run-and-gun action, this is definitely your kind of thing.
I’ve always loved games where your decisions matter and Ready or Not game nails that. Every door you open, every order you give, every shot you take, it all has weight.
|Coming to Xbox and PS5 — Finally
The devs at VOID Interactive confirmed that Ready or Not game is officially launching on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 in Summer 2025. It’ll be available both digitally and physically, which is awesome. Although the exact release date has not been given yet.
A couple of editions are expected:
Standard Edition at around $49.99
Day One Edition with some bonus content (details still under wraps)
And nope, there’s no version planned for older consoles like Xbox One or PS4, this one’s built for the current generation.

|Crossplay? Yep.
One of the best updates: Ready or Not will support full crossplay, meaning console players and PC players can team up. That’s a huge win, especially for a game that relies so much on teamwork and communication.
Whether you’re hopping in solo or playing with friends across platforms, that added flexibility is going to make a big difference.
|Does Ready or Not Support Cross-Progression?
For now, Ready or Not does not support cross-progression between PC and consoles. This means if you’ve already spent hours building up your progress on PC, your stats, unlocks, and mission history won’t carry over if you decide to switch to the Xbox or PS5 version when it launches in Summer 2025.
Each platform will operate separately, so you’ll essentially be starting from scratch if you jump systems. While the game will support crossplay, letting you team up with friends across different platforms, cross-progression hasn’t been confirmed.
I’ve played enough tactical shooters to know when one is doing something special, and Ready or Not just feels different. It’s intense, grounded, and doesn’t care about holding your hand. The missions are unpredictable, and you’re always walking that line between control and chaos.
And now that it’s finally coming to Xbox, with modern graphics, crossplay, and a community that’s already passionate on PC. This is going to be one of the biggest tactical shooter moments on console in years.
