Satisfactory 1.1 Release: Everything You Need to Know
It’s official, Satisfactory Update 1.1 is launching on June 10, 2025, and Coffee Stain Studios is bringing some seriously game changing upgrades to the table. If you’ve been knee-deep in conveyor belts, refining your logistics, or planning the perfect factory layout since the game hit 1.0, you’re going to love what’s coming.
Satisfactory 1.1 is shaping up to be a major step forward for this beloved automation sandbox.
|A Long-Awaited Toolkit Upgrade
At the heart of Update 1.1 is set of new building tools that address some of the biggest community requests. The introduction of vertical splitters and mergers will completely change how players design their item flow. These allow for cleaner, more space-efficient logistics and new ways to compact your factory design without sacrificing performance or aesthetics.
Also coming are priority mergers, which let you assign an order of importance to item inputs. That means you’ll have more granular control over how resources are distributed, perfect for managing backup lines or ensuring that your most critical machines never go dry.
|Better Hypertube Networks and Pipe Building
Transportation is also getting a major facelift. Hypertube branches and three-way junctions will allow for more complex tube networks, making it easier than ever to shoot across your base like a sci-fi hamster.
Alongside this, the beloved ‘straight build’ toggle, previously used for conveyors, is now being extended to pipes. And a brand-new ‘curved build’ feature will let you create smoother turns and angles with ease. Whether you’re a neat freak or just tired of clunky pipes ruining your layout, this will be a game changer.

Update 1.1 is also turning up the dial on usability and presentation. New throughput counters can now be placed on belts and pipes to show the exact flow of items, finally giving you real-time data to optimize your factory. Want to know if that copper line is running at full speed? Now you can see it with a glance.
On top of that, new stackable shelves, fans, vents, doors, beams, and left-handed rail signals add variety and polish to base design. And for anyone who loves taking in-game screenshots, photo mode is getting a major overhaul with new filters and options.
|Satisfactory 1.1 Release Date and Platforms
So when can you get your hands on all this? June 10, 2025, just around the corner. As usual, the update will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store for all existing PC players.
There’s still no word on a console release, but with controller support in progress and Satisfactory’s popularity continuing to grow, we wouldn’t be shocked to see some console news in the future.
Satisfactory 1.1 isn’t just a patch, it’s a toolkit refresh. This update adds more freedom, better control, and a lot more fun. Get ready to tear down some belts and rebuild smarter, your dream factory just got a major upgrade.
