Developed by Tyler’s Video Game Studio, this gritty open-world drug empire simulator has taken the PC world by storm since launching in early access on March 24, 2025. At its core, Schedule 1 throws you into the dark underworld of Hyland Point, a fictional West Coast city riddled with crime and opportunity. You start off as a small-time dealer and work your way up, managing your own narcotics operation. But this isn’t your typical “crime sandbox”, the game mixes dark humor, economic simulation, and even real-time production minigames.

  • Grow and Manufacture: You’ll refine fictional drugs using hands-on minigames. The devs added a lot of humor here, with tongue-in-cheek names and quirky processes.

  • Run the Business: Prices and demand shift constantly thanks to a dynamic economy. You’ll sell product, manage risk, and even use a fake in-game dark web to make deals.

  • Co-op Multiplayer: Up to four players can join forces. Whether you want to be the cook, the driver, or the muscle—there’s a role for everyone.

  • Combat and Chaos: Police raids, rival gangs, and chaotic street fights are all part of the fun. You’ll have access to everything from bats and machetes to revolvers and shotguns.

|Schedule 1 on Console?

Right now, Schedule 1 is only available on PC via Steam. There’s no official word yet on a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S release. That said, the developers have hinted that they’d love to bring it to console down the line, but it’s likely to happen only after the game leaves early access and gets more polish.

So if you’re hoping to play on console, you might be waiting a bit longer. But given how popular the game’s become, I wouldn’t be surprised if a console port is already in the early planning stages.

The biggest reason Schedule 1 blew up? It’s different. It’s messy, chaotic, and hilarious, but it’s also surprisingly deep. Whether you’re managing a drug empire or just laughing at a botched deal gone sideways, there’s something uniquely addicting here.
