Trigun Stampede Season 2: Everything We Know

If you’ve been waiting to see what happens next in Trigun Stampede, good news, Season 2 is officially happening, and it’s got a new title: Trigun Stargaze. The next chapter of Vash the Stampede’s story is currently in the works and expected to release sometime in 2026.

Here’s everything we know so far.

|What is Trigun Stargaze About?

Trigun Stargaze picks up two and a half years after the dramatic events of Trigun Stampede. While the exact plot details are still under wraps, the second season is expected to bring the final showdown between Vash and his brother, Millions Knives.

If you watched Season 1, you know the emotional and philosophical weight the story carries, Vash’s refusal to kill, even in the face of absolute destruction, is what gives this series its depth. Season 2 will dive deeper into that conflict, with more high-stakes action and powerful character moments.

|New and Returning Characters

Of course, Vash will be back, and so will Nicholas D. Wolfwood and Meryl Stryfe. But here’s the part fans are most excited about: Milly Thompson, who was noticeably missing from the first season, is expected to make her debut in Trigun Stargaze. Her return should bring a bit of heart and levity back into the mix, which longtime fans will definitely appreciate.

|Who’s Making It?

Just like Season 1, Trigun Stargaze is being produced by Studio Orange. Its the animation studio known for its incredible CGI work and they also worked on beasters. The director is Masako Satō, and the script is written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Character designs are handled by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, which means we can expect the same sleek, modern look from the first season.

And yes, it’ll stream on Crunchyroll when it drops in 2026.

Trigun Stargaze isn’t just another season, it’s the final chapter in the Trigun Stampede story. It promises more action, more emotional weight, and hopefully a satisfying conclusion to Vash’s journey. Whether you’re a longtime fan or jumped in with Stampede, there’s a lot to look forward to.
